Sitting in Rob’s room in Vancouver, he’s trying to read my book in Swedish while I’m not reading any of the things I should. Vancouver has large ecological stores, restaurants and hummingbirds, so I think I’ll be happy here! It’s weird that I haven’t felt really shocked by the fact that I’m here yet. Everything just feels like "yeah, sure, of course". It just makes no sence, since nothing here is really normal for me. But I have good guidance through Rob, so I guess that’s what is making all the difference.
We just watched a documentary about the American occupation of Iraq and oil and things - did you know that Greenpeace was in Iraq to trade old barrels, originally used for storing nuclear waste in nuclear powerplants, now used by people to store drinking water, for new, clean non-radioactive barrels for storing that water? Ah, there are some truly good people in this world.
